Focus: 2 Corinthians 5:20

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 

Consider these prompts to guide your prayers this week:

  • An ambassador is someone who “acts as a representative or promoter of a particular body or activity.” (Oxford Dictionary). We are ambassadors for Christ. Pray that each day this week you consciously represent and promote your faith in Christ.
  • Ask for God’s forgiveness for the times when you did not represent your faith when given the opportunity.
  • We are reconciled to God through the death and resurrection of Christ. This is good news! Thank God for all Jesus did for us.
